This episode features a lively discussion with Nicholas Stein, a great member of our men's community who is becoming a Mindfulness Meditation teacher. Nick candidly shares how he came to meditation in crisis after being immersed as a showrunner for the hit TV show, National Geographic’s Border Wars.
BEING AWARE OF THE PRESENT MOMENT: Nick also discusses how meditation has changed his perspective on life as well as some mindfulness meditation techniques, resources to learn more about mindfulness and how he has started to share his personal practice as a meditation teacher. One of his very first resources was a book recommended by Dr. Johnson, "Full Catastrophe Living" by Jon Kabit-Zinn, who defines mindfulness as "being aware of the present moment with openness, curiosity and kindness.
