Anthony DiMaggio Joins Dr. Stephen Johnson's Staff as Intern

Dr. Stephen J. Johnson proudly announces the addition of Anthony DiMaggio as an intern working under his supervision in his Beverly Hills and Woodland Hills offices.

Anthony received his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in July, 2016, from Pepperdine University, with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. He received his Bachelor’s degree in psychology, with honors, from California State University, Northridge in 2008.

Anthony has experience working with children, adults, couples, and families. In his training at Pepperdine Community Counseling Center in Encino he provided psychotherapy for individuals suffering from anxiety, stress, depression, low self esteem, behavioral problems, and relationship issues among others. He also has experience leading group parent training classes with a focus on mindfulness parenting skills.

Anthony utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, combined with mindfulness skills, to help clients overcome obstacles standing in their way to achieve their personal goals. He is collaborative in his approach and focused on supporting clients’ personal growth to help them reach their full potential. Anthony’s personal style combines warmth and acceptance with skill and dedication to his clients.

Anthony is also a valued member of the MCLA Wisdom Council and assists Dr. Stephen Johnson in producing the annual Sacred Path Men's Retreats on the mountain.
