DR. STEPHEN JOHNSON
Having been
awarded Masters and Doctoral Fellowships, Stephen earned his
advanced degrees from the School of Education within The University
of Southern California (Ph.D. in 1974) and taught in the graduate
school Counseling Psychology Department until 1978. Currently
on sabtacal, he has been on the teaching staff of the Clinical
Psychology Department at Ryokan College in Los Angeles since
1988. He holds two counseling credentials and a national certification
in Rehabilitation as well as a state license in Marriage, Family
and Child Therapy granted in 1972. Additionally, he has clinical
membership in a number of professional organizations. He is one
of the founding directors of The Center for Holistic Psychology
in Beverly Hills since 1974. For nearly thirty years, he has
been in private practice as a psychotherapist, consultant and
educator. He was a co-founder and director of The Los Angeles
Men's Leadership Guild and was a convener on the North American
Confederation of Men's Councils. He founded the Men's
Center of Los Angeles and Sacred Path Productions in 1989.
Dr. Johnson has written a number of published articles on
a variety of topics including men's issues, gender dynamics and
support of our youth. He has lectured in numerous venues including
local and national conference settings, schools, universities
and other educational institutions, the Skirball Cultural Center
and auditoriums before audiences numbering up to 2,000. A frequent
guest on radio and television, he has been interviewed on every
major network including CNN. He has conducted workshops and retreats
for men and women for over twenty five years. His semi-annual
Sacred Path Retreat for men has just celebrated its twelfth year.
Dr. Johnson resides with his wife of twenty two years and their
three children in Woodland Hills, California.

TIMOTHY “Whispering Eagle” AGUILAR
A Shaman is one who reveals the
path to truth and Timothy has dedicated his life to assisting
people in this endeavor for the past 10 years. He has extensively
studied American Native teachings and has been initiated through
intensive Amazonian Shamanic ceremonies and rituals. He wears
the robes of several traditions and blends many cultures, honoring
all Sacred teachings in alignment with the highest good. Timothy
shares from a wisdom learned from lessons of personal struggle
and extends with a heart full of passion and compassion for the
struggles that others encounter. In this spirit, he holds the
space for all works true to God on the path to beauty and self-realization.
Poet & Storyteller
DAVID “Strongbear” MYERS
began his path of storytelling
in the bosom of the Wide Sky Men's Council. He uses stories as
a reaching out to connect to our ancestors. He feels that stories
contain within them the hope, aspiration, and trepidation of
the human soul.
Percussionist
CHRISTO KARAM PELLANI
has played drums for over 30 years,
performed Internationally with various bands and has released
two CDs. He has a unique talent for creating a sense of community
through blending individual self-expression. He has discovered
the dynamic rhythms of the drum circle to be a powerful medium
for healing people
Musician/Songwriter
ED MUNTER
is a creator of innovative, music
and theatrical works. With an extensive background in music,
he has twenty years of experience in spiritual exploration. In
the field of advertising he has won 26 Clios for music composition
and production.
Movement Facilitator
FRED SUGARMAN
is a Movement Facilitator who uses
dance and movements to infuses men with knowledge and discovery
of their own bodies.

STEVE BRANKER
Steve is a long time participant
of Sacred Path retreats. He lends his remarkable organizational
skills to keep information flowing and is always available and
ready to provide help to participants.
