About
our scholarship fund and program
Please consider giving to
our scholarship fund. Contributions to the Conrad Burke Memorial
Scholarship Fund directly benefit men in need of financial
assistance allowing them to attend this retreat. We are particularly
interested in making it possible for disabled men to attend
our retreats.

Conrad Burke was one of our beloved elders
and the father of Matthew Burke, a member of the Executive Committee
of the Wisdom Council and an inspired poet and storyteller. Conrad
passed away on May 31, 2001 at the age of 65 in Bordeaux, France
while on vacation. Conrad joined the Sacred Path community in
1998 and left a legacy that will be remembered for many years
to come. The Fall 2001 retreat, on the theme of The Magician,
was dedicated to Conrad with gratitude for the love, laughter
and wisdom that he gave so generously to all of us. The magic
that he brought to this community will continue to be an inspiration.
He will not be forgotten.
