Men’s Groups
We provide Men’s groups throughout the week at our Woodland Hills
and Beverly Hills locations. The groups, under the guidance of licensed
psychotherapists, are designed to be comprehensive, dealing with
topics as varied as marital and relationship issues, divorce, single
parenting, career directions, stress, burn-out and whatever else
men need to talk about. The groups usually take shape and stay together
for extended periods of time, as strong bonds tend to form for the
participants.

Anger Management and Conflict Resolution
By emphasizing causes, consequences and behavioral shifts we promote
true empowerment required to redress damage done to self and others.
We help men to:
- Identify and express the full range of feelings and emotions
- Define and distinguish differences between assertiveness and
aggressive tendencies.
- Role-play and experience empathy for others
- Confront non-belligerently
- Develop discernment and accountability rather than judging,
blaming and projecting
- Eliminate denial and justifications for hurting self and others
- Recognize how alcohol and drugs affect behavior
- Discover how mood and temperament affect personality
